The story "Tetiyette and the Devil" was about a young teenage girl who was at a point in her life where she was supposed to get married. Two men come to see visit her looking to marry her are described as a "pig" and "goat", inferring their not so attractive appearances. She then brushes them both off immediately without giving either a chance. One day another man dressed in gold comes to visit her and she is very impressed by the man. This shows the reader that she is all about looks and doesn't really care much for how the person truly is. The mother warns her daughter that the man is evil but she keeps telling her that everything between them two are fine. Later on throughout the story her husband who is the "Devil" starts to eat her and while all this is happening she is screaming for help from her mother, but she refuses to saying that she warned her. Later the girls brother comes and cuts the devil open and rescues her before being entirely eaten.

The moral of the story is to not judge things based on appearance. People may not seem to be who you think they are. Also things you may believe or look good to or for you may not always be good for you.
